Love it or hate it, this franchise has still been a top grossing movie since it´s start.
And here is the conclusion….All signs points to a restart of the series in a few years with a new star?
Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, humanity is on its last legs after Alice, Jill, Leon, Ada, and Becky are betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. As the only survivors of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began – Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. In a race against time Alice will join forces with her friends, and new, old, and unlikely allies, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between regaining her superhuman abilities and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is an upcoming science fiction action horror film written and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson. It will be the sixth and final installment in the Resident Evil film series, the film is a sequel to Resident Evil: Retribution (2012), based on the Capcom survival horror video game seriesResident Evil. The film will star Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Ruby Rose, William Levy, Eoin Macken, Rola, Lee Joon-gi, and Iain Glen. In the film, Alice and her friends are betrayed by Albert Wesker and now they are going out to gather the entire forces of Umbrella into one final strike against the apocalypse survivors.
It is scheduled to be released on December 23, 2016 in Japan and on January 27, 2017 in North America on 2D ,3D and IMAX 3D.
