Tidal releases exclusive material, but will it make a difference?
We love Spotify (Because it´s free!). But we do understand the musicians need to get out more money for their work.
But is Tidal really the right solution?
We doubt it. It all feels like a big PR stunt from start to end.
Now they are gonna release exclusive material from some of their attached artists to give it a boost on the market.
But are you willing to pay for it?
What makes it better than Spotify or the free streaming services like Grooveshark for example?
The exclusive material includes, The White Stripes’ first-ever television appearance, Daft Punk’s 2006 film Electroma, playlists curated by Arcade Fire, Jay Z, Beyoncé, and Coldplay, a preview of Todd Rundgren’s new collaboration with Lindstrøm and Emil Nikolaisen, and more. Enough to we your appetite?
