World premiere today for the new single by Giorgio Moroder feat. Kylie Minogue – “Right Here, Right Now”


Today, January 20 release of discos and modern electronic music protagonists – Giorgio Moroder her new single “Right Here, Right Now” feat. Kylie Minogue.

“Right Here, Right Now” is the first official single from Giorgio’s upcoming album, his first solo album in 30 years. The new album, to be released in the spring through Sony Music Sweden around the world contains collaborations including Britney Spears, Sia, Charli XCX, Mikky Ekko, Foxes and Matthew Koma.

Italian born Moroder has made a name for himself as one of the world’s most influential producers, songwriters and composers. At 74 years of age are Moroder remains a central figure in the EDM culture. He was re-introduced into the really limelight with his participation in the success of the album “Random Access Memories” by Daft Punk from 2013. Recently he has been up to date with remixes for artists such as Lady Gaga / Tony Bennett, Coldplay and Haim. He has a newfound passion that live DJ and has in the past year participated in major festivals in Japan, Mexico, Germany, USA and especially here in Sweden at the Way Out West.

During his career, Giorgio Moroder worked with some of the most famous names in popular music including Barbra Streisand, Elton John, Donna Summer, Cher, Janet Jackson, Chaka Khan, Freddy Mercury, Blondie, David Bowie to name a few. Cooperation in the 1970s with especially Donna Summer resulted in groundbreaking songs like “Love To Love You Baby,” “Hot Stuff” and “I Feel Love” who crowned at the Summer the obvious epithet Queen of Disco.

In addition to big hits during the disco era, he also excelled as a film composer – the soundtrack to both “Scarface” and “Midnight Express” is signed Moroder. For the latter, he won an Oscar statuette – his first of three. He has also won the award for Best Song with “Flashdance” by Irene Cara and “Take My Breath Away” by Berlin.

Giorgio Moroder was elected into the Dance Music Hall of Fame in 2004.

The new single “Right Here, Right Now” feat. Kylie Minogue released through digital retailers today on 20 January.
